The Dalinian Triangle is the triangle formed by the towns of Figueres, birthplace of Salvador Dalí and home of the Dalí Theatre-Museum; Púbol, with the Gala-Salvador Dalí Castle, former residence of the painter's muse, and Portlligat, Dalí's former residence near Cadaqués.
Girona is the capital and the largest city in the area, and has a truly spectacular old town. The Onyar River divides the new city from the medieval city, with its colorful houses, one of the most famous images of Girona. Its Jewish quarter, the Cathedral of Santa Maria and the Roman walls are some of the must-see places in the city. It is not surprising that, due to its medieval atmosphere, the series “Game of Thrones” chose Girona to film some of the scenes of the sixth season.
Barcelona is known internationally for its people, its culture, its sea, Barça football club... and its architecture.
